I have no password included with the LyngBox, should I have that ? When I look on the "Settings" page on the LyngBox site it says "Write your LyngBox Id with password which where included if you have bought a LyngBox". I do have a LyngBox Id but no password, where can I find it ? -

LyngBox password is written in "System Information" menu, same menu where you should have found your LyngBox ID (Web User) from.
There is a known bug in displaying LyngBox ID when Dutch menu language is chosen, but you say your problem is in finding your password. Please check the "System Information" menu and inform us back afterwards.
Your problem might also be due to fact that you cannot connect your LyngBox to Internet! I will check and update you through this topic. -

When I check the "System Information" in the LyngBox, there is no Web User-password and no Ftp User: lyngbox-password. I´ve selected English menu language. By the way, will there be Swedish menu language in the future ? -

I have the same problem. I can not see my password etc. I know my connection is now up and running. But I can not connect to the Lyngbox server. Is there a place where we can find if the server is down or not? -

There are some final works currently going on LyngBox servers for the upcoming software launch. Your problem might be caused by that fact, I kindly ask you to wait few more hours... -

Okay, I now have two boxes. Both can see the EPG GUIDE. They get an IP address. But still they can NOT connect to the Lyngsat server. Any advise? -

Funny, I took the box home. And now it all works fine. So, I assume there is some setting in my router which is causing the problem. Perhaps a port closed/opened? Does anyone have any idea? I will check again tomorrow. -

It took me a while but I finally figured out the reason why it wouldn't work. I was using a very old ADSL modem (Alcatel Speedtouch). When I started using Linux I've noticed my pc wouldn't even connect to sites like Google or Gmail? So, after a lot of reading I found the MTU value of my modem was not set right. While Windows XP was able to work this out, Linux/VISTA and the Lyngbox were not?!? So, I bought another router and all is well since. -

@demoss
If you register your LyngBox on this site, you only need the login and password that you create yourself; you will be automatically logged in on the LyngSat Guide page. -
