    Hi all!

Up until the last firmware update 1.2.33, I have successfully used my Dragon CAM loaded with Predator 3.68 software to access the Danish Viasat bouquet with my legal subscription card. (see http://www.lyngbox.com/support/forum/discussion/151/softwareproblems-discovered-in-the-lyngbox-sw-1233-r51188-and-suggestion-for-improvements/#Item_3 for details)

My initial solution was to downgrade the LB to 1.2.24, but the instability and other issues have made me upgrade once again to 1.2.33, thus I now use the LB for Canal Digital and DVB-T and the %”&*@ Viasat box for…. Viasat…

Obviously, I sincerely hope this solution is only temporary….

I was wondering which solution other Scandinavian users have put in place to use the LB to watch Viasat?

Which CAM and version? Which software??

This is NOT an attempt to do piracy, but simply a matter of using the LB with my legal subscription card..

    Cheers,
    Fredborg

Fredborg, unfortunately LyngBox isn´t suitable for NDS encrypted TV-programs like Viasat. If you want to watch both Visat and Canal Digital in the same receiver you´ll get more successful if you use a Vantage receiver like Vantage HD 8000TS Twin PVR which have built in cardreaders which can handle cards from Viasat and Canal Digital directly, no need to use separate CAM:s.

I don´t know when the LyngBox team will be able to fix the CAM-problems. I find it very strange that a satellitereceiver like LyngBox which is sold as a "high end" satellite receiver have so many softwareproblems and lack of basic functions.
