Distributor Information
The information ahead is geared toward existing LyngBox distributors and those who wish to become distributors. Here you will find information on where the LyngBox is currently available, free downloads, questions other distributors have asked (see our FAQ) and in general be able to stay current on what’s going on in the world of LyngBox.
First step toward becoming a distributor
If you do have an interest in distributing LyngBox in your area, we would like to hear about it. Any contact information you provide will remain confidential until such time as a distributor agreement is reached. To start the process, submit your interest. We will review your information as soon as possible and respond accordingly.
Your dedicated distribution area
Once you’ve been approved as distributor of the LyngBox, we will provide you with a user ID and password. With these, you log in to your own private area where we store your unique information, such as: order history, placing and tracking orders, localized marketing materials and ads, support and after sales support, PR and marketing activities currently running in your region, translation requests, etc. The distribution area is not to be confused with “My Page”, which is available to everybody who wishes to be part of the LyngBox community and post in our forum.
When and where?
Thanks for making our launch at IBC2007 a success! It was grand meeting so many of you and your feedback has been most valuable. We are working as quickly as we can to get samples ready for our phase 1 delivery. Detailed information will follow. Our second release will happen in the first quarter of 2008. In conjunction with this, our web shop will open up. Currently, we have not finalized country-by-country distribution schedules. We encourage distributors to make regular checks for updated information.
Who do we envision as customers for the LyngBox?
Free-to-air viewers
There are certainly many free-to-air TV services available. However, they tend to evolve and change satellite parameters over time. The LyngBox with its constantly updated listing of free-to-air channels, is able to deliver these as a viable package to customers.
Frequent TV viewer with technical interest
This could be a first-time digital TV receiver buyer but is more likely to be a returning customer seeking access to more channels and detailed information.
Frequent TV viewer without technical interest
This viewer is often looking for TV information and needs access to a lot of varied programs and categorized channels. The ease of use, quick scan of existing TV channels and processing speed of the device is very important. This can be a first time digital TV receiver buyer, but most probably this is a second buy with the intention of having access to more information and channels.
First time buyers
This user is seeking an easy-to-use device that performs well without the need for technical knowledge.
